On December 3rd, the children from Joy Valley visited the Joy Pony Lifu (Jiangmen) Equestrian Camp to participate in a one-day equestrian cultural program. They had the opportunity to interact closely with ponies, experiencing the joy of freedom and the wind.
Equestrian Knowledge Introduction
During the educational session, the instructors provided the children with a comprehensive introduction to equestrian knowledge. They covered topics ranging from the origins of horses and their behaviors to methods of building a friendship with ponies. The instructors explained these concepts in a simple and engaging manner, allowing the children to develop a basic understanding of horses and equestrianism. Gradually, the children started to cultivate an interest in the world of equestrian sports.

Horse Stable Practice and Interaction
The children arrived at the horse stable, where under the guidance of the instructors, they used different brushes to groom the ponies, making them look more vibrant and well-groomed.
The feeding session was also filled with excitement and amusement. At first, the children hesitated to approach the ponies, but within just 5 minutes, they became good friends with them.

Equestrian Riding Experience
The children were extremely excited during their first encounter with the ponies. With a mixture of excitement and nervousness, they mounted the ponies under the guidance of the instructor. Gradually, they learned the essentials of riding and practiced maintaining balance while on horseback, thoroughly enjoying their time.
During the riding session, the children displayed remarkable bravery. They confidently mounted the ponies, held their heads high, and showed off the posture of young knights with a touch of elegance.

Write Notes about Nature
Nature notes writing is a common form of expression in nature education activities. It helps improve our powers of observation and our connection with the natural world. In recent years, it has become increasingly popular among the public. Understanding the principles of nature notes and mastering the basic methods of nature observation recording can be very helpful in conducting nature education activities.
To guide more people to explore nature, observe nature, and develop their keen sense, imagination, and creativity, we encourage every child participating in the activity to write their own nature notes and record the little moments of their personal growth.

Moment of Honor
As the course came to an end, the certificates in their hands served as a testament to the children’s diligent learning and hard work. It was a moment of honor and pride for the children, who had dedicated their time and effort to the program.

Words from Instructors
Healthy food provides the nutrients our bodies need through our metabolic system. Similarly, healthy sensory experiences are transformed into healthy psychological and intellectual well-being through our nervous system. Theme-based sensory experiences follow a healthy process of “experience, sensation, and reflection.” It starts with sparking intrinsic interest, utilizing interactive bodily experiences, activating sensations, and ultimately generating genuine reflection. This learning approach, based on authentic experiences, helps us rediscover the motivation for exploration and learning from the heart.
Through interaction with horses, we unconsciously reconnect with the natural biodiversity, explore various phenomena and laws of nature, stimulate our curiosity about the external world, and ignite our desire to explore unknown knowledge……
