On January 21st, the Crazy Primitive Day Camp course in Joy Valley welcomed 30 “little warriors”. In the natural environment, children experienced the primitive living environment of the primitive people.
Natural observation and collection

Build a shelter
Primitive humans exist in wilderness spaces and often face challenges from nature. A simple shelter can often help them overcome difficulties, such as cold nights, fierce beasts, or pouring rain.
In the activity, the children learned about the architectural structure of the shelter and grouped together to build a simple shelter. Let’s plan the shape of the shelter together, collect materials together, and build it together. The strength of the team makes everyone full of enthusiasm. Even in the face of difficulties and even failures, everyone works together to solve the problem.

Experience drilling wood to start a fire
Fire played an important role in primitive society, as cooking food, heating, and farming all relied on it. Drilling wood for fire is one of the most primitive ways of starting a fire. Through personal demonstrations, the nature teacher demonstrated how to choose suitable wood and how to use tools to drill wood for fire.
When the children saw the smoke coming out, they were all excited.

Identifying crops and naturally picking them
After lunch, the children came to the field to get to know the crops in the land: carrots, sugarcane, oilseed rape.
Everyone also picked Australian oranges and brought them home to share delicious food with their families.

Harvest moment
Through a day of classes and activities, children have gained a lot. Pick up the certificate in your hand and take a photo with your creative achievements, leaving behind beautiful memories.

Mentor’s words
In a one-day course, the children used their senses of sight, touch, smell, taste, touch, and hearing to immerse themselves in empathy with nature. Children are particularly fond of bamboo and wooden sticks. As if they had been true primitive people for a day.
On January 28th, the Crazy Primitive Day Camp in Joy Valley will continue to meet with all the “little warriors”. Welcome everyone to enter the valley and experience the life of primitive people!
