Today, we embarked on our third wilderness survival challenge at the beautiful nature school at Joy Valley. The rainy season also brought more challenges and unique experiences to the entire course. Let’s review together.
Discussion on Wilderness Adventure Scenarios
Coach COLIN distributed the wilderness adventure storyline he created to each young adventurer. In the plot, the adventurers were stranded on a deserted island and could only survive and escape based on the existing conditions on the island. The young adventurers themselves replaced the protagonists in the story and completed the survival adventure based on the conditions provided in the story. The young adventurers gathered together to discuss, stimulate their imagination and problem-solving abilities.
Wilderness Knowledge School
Before preparing to embark on an adventure in the wilderness, it is necessary to make sufficient preparations, Coach COLIN taught students some basic wilderness survival knowledge, including the tying method for building simple tents and supplementing water and food at the outdoor lecture hall in Taoran Valley.
Practice of Building Wilderness Camps
Adventures in the wilderness are very physically demanding. During the adventure, it is often necessary to rest and adjust, and learn to find safe and suitable areas to build simple campsites, which is a very important skill！
Fire making process experiment
If we accidentally enter the primitive outdoors and you don’t have any tools to ignite the fire, we can only obtain the ignition through some primitive methods. Coach COLIN teaches and leads the young adventurers on site to conduct primitive fire experiments, and each student successfully ignites the fire according to the mentor’s instructions!

Executive Summary
Although the weather is not good and the rain is continuous, the enthusiasm of all the young adventurers is still high. They bravely face all the challenges, and everyone has absorbed new knowledge very well. They have also completed the tasks given by the teacher. At the end of the course, they also tasted the rewards given by the teacher. The delicious roasted cotton candy is so delicious that every child eats happily and even wants to eat it!
Allowing children to learn wilderness knowledge and experience wilderness survival is not necessarily for survival in the wilderness, but more importantly, it can bring them a lot of special knowledge, cultivate their independence, confidence, resistance, and allow them to experience exercise and grow up healthy!
